Fairplex, the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, sits at 1101 West McKinley Avenue in Pomona and operates as an independently governed nonprofit organization leased from Los Angeles County. The facility began with 43 acres donated by the City of Pomona in 1922 and has since expanded to its current 543 acres, serving as a multipurpose event venue for competitions, exhibitions, and celebrations throughout the year.

The marquee event is the Los Angeles County Fair, held each May, which celebrates agriculture, food, entertainment, and family activities under the tagline 'Dig In Where Fun Grows.' Beyond the fair, Fairplex hosts trade shows, consumer exhibitions, conventions, sporting events, and operates educational programs through its Learning and Development Center, which offers STEM, agriculture, and arts education to thousands of students annually.

For Pomona families, the fairgrounds represent a gathering place for celebration and learning—where children see where food comes from and where traditions begin. Providing financial security for those experiences and the people sharing them is what life insurance planning accomplishes.
