Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Quotes require gender, birth date, your self-described health condition, tobacco consumption, desired coverage level and preferred term. Name, address and detailed medical information are collected only upon choosing to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The amounts reflect carrier quotations for the health tier you selected. Underwriting by the carrier might confirm your class, assign you to a better class, or place you in a different class. These estimates are intended for comparison and represent no insurance commitment or guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You supply your name, and from the quote you selected, an application is generated and moved to the carriers' platform. The process allows stopping and returning later, and you can sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), administers applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies based on the carrier, coverage level, and your responses. Immediate-coverage carriers can finalize approvals for qualifying applicants; each quote indicates exam necessity, possibility or non-requirement for that product.

Is a longer term better?

A term should span the period your dependents would suffer from your income loss—such as years with debt, dependent children, or major business liabilities. More coverage costs more per month but holds your rate longer. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year terms with the quote tool.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Quotes don't require name or email. We avoid selling, sharing or transferring personal data. This site's first-party measurement is cookieless and honors Do Not Track; we also rely on a cookieless beacon from the content delivery provider that does not honor those signals but stores no identifying information. The privacy statement lists all collected information and responsible parties.
